We have been receiving numerous inquiries about the Hepatitis A vaccine. We are happy to field your questions. Unless you actually have been in close contact with a person who is sick with Hepatitis A, there is probably no urgent need for a vaccination. "Close contact" means someone who is ill with Hepatitis A in your household or someone who is ill with Hepatitis A that you shared a meal with.
